Email from Pride Wrestling that was sent out. You likely got it if you signed up for individuals but if you’re only in duals they wouldn’t have your email so I’m sharing here. I did enjoy writing crop out the end about the donations they make so if you’re curious I can add that in comments but it’s a lot fo reading so I didn’t want to include it in the main post.

Hi parents and coaches. There is a lot of information in this email so please read through so you don't miss anything Welcome to Escape the Jungle at Kalahari Waterpark & Convention. We have the entire convention space this year, over 250k square feet including all 4 convention centers, meeting rooms and common areas. a few important points that might help with the questions some parents might have.

1. Registration weight doesn't matter, we use weight at weigh-ins

2. 1 weigh in will cover all wrestling and there will be lots of signs to

direct you to weigh in location

3. Individual can weigh in at any of the weigh in times before their

session is scheduled to start, (except for the Friday 3-4pm time)

4. Friday weigh-ins from 3-4 are for 8u,10u &12u Duals wrestlers only.

5. You can change Divisions or information at the scales free of charge

You must verify that your wrestler is in the correct division before

you leave the scales. No changes after weigh ins close.

6. Weigh ins will close exactly when it is scheduled and there will be

no additions after the scales close. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!

7 If you are on a duals team and individual, the individual will be

priority so if you come up on the board and you are not currently

wrestling your duals match then you need to report to your individual

match and push the duals match and you will wrestle that afterward.

8 We have a 100% free introduction to freestyle moves and rule clinic

for parents, coaches and athletes all 3 days to help you or your athlete

familiarize yourself with freestyle incase you might wanna give it a

shot this weekend. This will be run by 3 time PIAA champ and world

medalist Gavin Hoffman and 2 Time PIAA state champ and U23 Pan am freestyle Champ Wyatt Henson with rules by USAW head ref Joe Silvestri.

Wrestling will take place in the Kalahari and Kilamarjo ballrooms and the remaining 2 ballrooms will be set up with tables and chairs so you have a spot to get away from the noise and relax between matches. There will be a huge projector in every room to show upcoming matches so you don't need to worry about watching your phone all day long. We have also paid for the upgraded Wifi so you will have better service inside of the ballrooms. If you are staying at Kalahari we have paid for self check in kiosk to be placed down at the convention center so you can stay out of the rat race at the front check in area. We have tried to make this experience as easy and enjoyable for you as possible. We are offering the discounted online admission tickets until tomorrow night at midnightso please take advantage of that. There are multi-day packages and all access packages for all 3 days too. With renting the entire place to make sure everyone is not crammed like sardines it has come with a substantial price tag. We are well over 100k with all of our costs and expenses. We have always strived to be the cheapest and the best event anywhere and will continue to reach for that goal. Again, as we did last year there will be no admission tickets needed for any kids under 18. This is a huge help to bigger families that are already on a tight budget. Please get your admission tickets early and you will be able to access 1 of 3 fast pass lanes and skip the wait.
